Chapter 3-5: There Is No Such Thing as an Economy or Economics

There is no such thing as an economy ... or economics ... or economic statistics

"The Economy" has been created by Pols&Crats who feel it is their divine right to control the lives of others. One hears all the time, "It's the President's job to run the country," or, "I have to get back to the job you elected me to do – running the country." Hooey! We elect a Congress and President to write necessary laws and to see that they are enforced. The politicians have created this image of the Economic Ship of State requiring that it be steered by the Self-Anointed Ones lest the ship go aground. In this analogy, all the rest of the citizens have their jobs to do on the ship, from Cabin Boy to First Officer, but quite obviously, the Self-Anointed Pols&Crats have to be in charge of the ship and make all the decisions, or anarchy will prevail, and the ship and all its passengers and crew will perish.

This is absolute bunkum. There is no economic ship of state. What there is are:

300 Luxurious Cruise Ships

165,784 Rather Ordinary Motor Cruisers

8,756,736 Ugly Freighters

10,364 House Boats

4,563,746 Very Annoying and Very Noisy Jet Skies

178,609 Sailboats

7,897 Speed Boats

97,872 Bass Boats

632,106 Canoes

1 Lonely Guy in A Homemade Canoe Crossing the Atlantic

15,999 Guys in Kayaks Dreaming About Crossing the Atlantic

If anyone thinks that this mélange can be controlled by a politician, and his anointed minions, he or she is suffering grand delusions. Any attempt to control this diverse group of people only places an absolutely useless parasitic load on the people being controlled to feed the egos of the Pols&Crats.
